1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account, publishing an artifact, generating an API key, connecting an MCP client, or otherwise using Artifact Studio, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you use Artifact Studio for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.
2. What Artifact Studio provides
Artifact Studio lets you turn Markdown into shareable web pages, maintain versions behind stable URLs, control visibility, and authorize compatible AI agents to read, create, or update artifacts through APIs and MCP. Features may change as the service evolves.
3. Your account and credentials
You are responsible for activity performed through your account, active OAuth grants, and API keys. Keep credentials confidential, use separate credentials where practical, and remove or replace access if you believe it has been exposed. Do not attempt to use another person’s account or credential without permission.
4. AI agents acting on your behalf
When you authorize ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Codex, or another agent, you are giving that client the ability to call the Artifact Studio actions covered by the granted permissions. Agent output can be incomplete or wrong, and an agent may publish or modify content based on your instructions. Review important actions and artifact visibility before relying on them.
Artifact Studio is responsible for enforcing the permissions presented by its own service; the behavior, prompts, model output, and data practices of a third-party AI client remain subject to that provider’s terms.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you submit. You grant Artifact Studio a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, render, cache, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, and provide the service according to your visibility choices.
You are responsible for having the rights needed to publish the content and for avoiding material that unlawfully infringes copyright, privacy, confidentiality, trademark, or other rights.
6. Visibility and sharing
Public artifacts can be indexed and shared broadly. Unlisted artifacts are intended for link-based sharing but are not confidential: anyone with the URL may be able to view or forward it. Private artifacts require supported authorization. You are responsible for choosing the appropriate visibility before publishing sensitive information.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Artifact Studio to break the law; distribute malware or malicious code; facilitate unauthorized access; impersonate others; spam, harass, threaten, or exploit people; evade technical limits; interfere with the service; scrape or probe it in a way that causes harm; or publish content you have no right to distribute.
We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, infrastructure, third parties, or the integrity of the service.
8. Third-party services
Artifact Studio can interoperate with identity providers, AI clients, hosting platforms, and other third-party services. Those products are not controlled by Artifact Studio, and their availability, security, pricing, terms, and data practices can change independently.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service useful and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue features, transports, integrations, or the service itself. When practical, we will try to avoid unnecessary disruption to existing artifacts and integrations.
10. Disclaimers
Artifact Studio is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that generated previews, search indexing, third-party OAuth flows, AI-agent actions, or external integrations will always work exactly as expected.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Artifact Studio and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, business, or goodwill arising from the use or inability to use the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
12. Ending use
You may stop using Artifact Studio at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations of these terms, security risks, legal requirements, or conduct that materially harms the service or others. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including content rights already granted for operational purposes, disclaimers, and liability limits, will continue as legally appropriate.
13. Governing terms
These terms are intended to operate under applicable Brazilian law, without waiving any mandatory consumer or privacy protections that apply to you. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product changes. The revision date appears at the top of this page. For questions about these terms, use the contact channel made available by Artifact Studio.
